There are 3 ways to filter for clean water.

Sand filtration: the most used method today and long ago. Water is drawn from the pool into the equipment room by a pool pump. Once in the machine room, water passes into the filter pool. The advantage of this method is higher than the fineness of filtration sand filtered. However, the drawback is cleaning the filter, you must remove the cartridge and then clean the jet.

Diatomaceous filter: this system is very lmoin the most efficient with an extraordinary degree of filtration. The filter is composed of diatoms (fossilized algae powder). The use of diatomaceous filter guarantees a filtration can not be found elsewhere. By cons, level Default: this system is very sensitive and must use a very special way. Unlike the sand filter must be changed regularly diatoms.
