REMINDER OF FRENCH LAW
  
From 1st January 2004, Rule no. 2003-9 of 3rd January 2003 which concerns pool security became effective. It aims at cautionning the risk of drowning in private pools, especially for young children.

Those who are concerned :

Private out-door digged pools of personal or collective usages (family
pools, residentents reserved pools, holiday centre or club pools, hotel
pools, rural B & B or camping pools...etc).

Those who are not concerned :

* Indoor pool,
* ground pools, inflatable or take-down pools ( off-ground ),
* Swimming school with its supervising by life guards
(Rule no. 51-662 of 24th May 1951).

ATTENTION : Rule no. 2003-9 of 3rd January 2003 which concerns pool security has been in effect since 1st January 2004. It appertains to all for its respecting.
